Blog Post #6: How Can 3D Printing Help Our Environment?

  1. Hi Pam!
I did 3D printing for my blog post also. As I stated on Caroline's post, considering 3D printing is so new, I'm really excited to see where it goes from here. The progress that's been made on it so far has been great, but I think we can do even better.

  2. Hi Pam,
I love your idea! It is so creative and would think this would be a great idea to combat environmental issues as well as ethic issues. Overall, great post!!

  3. Pamela- I really am excited by your slide presentation- visuals are almost always more impactful than printed words. You clearly and concisely deliver your vision! Nice job!

I LOVE your thoughts that all sorts of plastic and metal can be ground into fiber for more 3D printing! You are so right that the utilization of 3D printing will decrease freight being shipped worlwide- but... now I ask... how do you imagine all these 3D printers will be powered? We need to consider that as well.
To use old plastics, metals, even things like old sneaker soles- would be creating true circular production! Nice work!
